Hi! , My name is Bob Ashby welcome to my site. This picture of me was taken from the East End of Long Island at Montauk Harbor which is in Gosman's Dock. One of the many stores there in this plaza, including the well known Gosman's Dockside Resturant. I created this site with you in mind.
Please stop back often I do plan on
updating it now and then :)

About Me

I was born in the borough of Queens in N.Y.C. , I lived there till I was 9. Then I moved out to a town on The Great South Bay. I am currently give or take a mile about 45 miles from N.Y.C. Long Island is known for its potatoes and its many beaches and now we are becoming known for our wineries too. One of our well known beaches is called Fire Island it is connected to Long Island by ferries and you can drive over to it to by car a few miles then there are no cars allowed at all. They get there groceries by ferries from here too. One of the biggest attractions here that people all over the country come to see is Montauk Point that is on the Eastern End of the island. Our wineries are over on the other eastern end of the island by Orient Point, There are alot of farms there too. We also have some celebrities here too such as to name a few singer Mariah Carey and actor
